2012 NT Titles

first_imgTeams will travel from many areas across the Territory to compete in the event, including East Arnhem, Alice Springs, Nhulunbuy, Ramingining and from around Darwin to battle it out for the title of Mixed under 18, Mixed over 35’s, Men’s and Women’s Open champions. Under 18 teams include; Taminimin, Katherine High School, NPGA ST Johns, Alice Springs, Team Deadly, East Arnhem and the Red Dragons. This year will see the introduction of the Mixed over 35’s division and will see the Darwin Legends, the Mixtures, the Uni Titans and Gove all challenge for the title.In the Women’s Open division, seven teams will be competing in Darwin with Alice Springs, Gove, the Scorpions, Hoops 4 Health, the Prospects, the Titans and Ramingining all vying to be the Territory’s number one side.The Men’s Open division will see six teams competing with the AIRSNT Tigers, Alice Springs, the BOC Dodgers, Ramingining Warriors, the Bears and the Prospects all being represented in the premier division.This year’s titles will see Alice Springs in the Under 18’s, the BOC Dodgers in the Men’s Open and Hoops 4 Health in the Women’s Open divisions returning to defend their 2011 titles. The grand finals will be played out on Sunday afternoon with the Under 18’s game kicking proceedings off at 3.30pm, with the Men’s Open’s concluding the event with a 6.00pm final.
