Just ask Arkansas head coach Chad Morris. The Razorbacks went 2-10 in Morris’ first season, but the focus is now on turning things around. Morris hosted a number of recruits on official visits this weekend, some of whom are already headed to Arkansas next year. The weather in Fayetteville didn’t really cooperate, but Morris was able to make due. He took matters into his own hands, making sure players and parents could make the most of the situation.According to Assistant Director of Football Ops Sean Tuohy Jr., Morris salted and cleaned his entire neighborhood so recruits could visit.“People thinking @coachchadmorris recruiting stuff is lip service: instead of cancelling recruiting social after dinner at his house, he personally went to Home Depot earlier today & salted not only his driveway but his ENTIRE neighborhood & roads to it to get parents here. #WPS,” Tuohy wrote on Twitter.People thinking @coachchadmorris recruiting stuff is lip service: instead of cancelling recruiting social after dinner at his house, he personally went to Home Depot earlier today & salted not only his driveway but his ENTIRE neighborhood & roads to it to get parents here. #WPS— Sean Tuohy Jr. (@SJTuohy) January 20, 2019If Arkansas doesn’t make major improvements next year, it won’t be for Morris’ lack of trying, that’s for sure.Right now, Arkansas’ 2019 recruiting class is ranked eighth in the SEC and 21st nationally. The Razorbacks have signed six four-star players. To view the full 2019 recruiting team rankings, click here.
