NAOMH CONAILL ‘EXTREMELY AGGRIEVED’ AT APPEAL REFUSAL

first_imgNAOMH CONAILL club leaders have tonight expressed their anger at their failure to have their game against Glenswilly replayed.The Glenties based club had asked for their county championship semi-final to be replayed after the referee in their semi-final against Glenswilly last Sunday failed to send off a player who had already been yellow-carded.When he later received a black card, he should have been given a red card and sent off. Instead Glenswilly were able to replace him. Naomh Conaill’s appeal against the result was turned down by Donegal county board executives.
