Having said that, our openers are doing really well. Virat is in fantastic form. But here, I have just added that MS, under whom we have won two major World Cups… the T20 World Cup in 2007 and the 50-over World Cup in 2011… his experience will come to the fore. His mentoring will also be very crucial, crucial. We all know the chemistry Virat and Mahi share is very, very important. That’s the reason why I said MS Dhoni is very crucial,” MSK Prasad said.He added: “Time and again, I have said he is the best wicketkeeper in the world. With every passing game, his wicketkeeping skills are only getting better. Yes, we were a bit worried about his batting form at a point in time. With these two series, all those worries are addressed. He’s back in form. He will be playing the Australia series and the IPL. He is going to play a very good no. of matches, which is important for him.”Also Read | MS Dhoni ensures Indian flag doesn’t touch the ground as fan rushes out to touch his feetAlso Read | India should not play Pakistan in 2019 Cricket World Cup: Harbhajan SinghAlso Read | Dinesh Karthik vs Rishabh Pant for World Cup: MSK Prasad weighs in on debateAlso See:last_img read more
