25-year-old Charged Following Weekend Vehicle Theft In Celoron

first_imgCELORON – A 25-year-old was charged in connection with a vehicle theft over the weekend in the Village of Celoron.Town of Ellicott Police report Robbie Steams allegedly took a vehicle without the owner’s permission on Saturday.The vehicle, police say, was later located in Jamestown.Steams is charged with fourth-degree grand larceny in the case. Police say he was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to face the charge in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date. Operation Ramp It Up installs ramp system in Milan

Recently, Greg and his crew removed a system in East Enterprise that had been installed for Jack Haslett after he passed away. It was moved to Milan to the home of Rufus and Sue Purcell. Football: Wisconsin dominates in Lincoln winning Freedom Trophy for fourth straight year

first_imgIt looks as though the University of Wisconsin is getting back into the swing of things after managing to take down the Nebraska Cornhuskers 38-17 during their second road game of the season.Saturday’s contest saw the return of tight end Troy Fumagalli, who was absent from the field last weekend after sustaining a lower leg injury during the Badger’s bye week. Fumagalli, who is a valuable leader for this team and is one of quarterback Alex Hornibrook’s favorite receivers, managed to garner 31 yards during three receptions during his first game back.While Wisconsin struggled to keep points off the board during the second half of the game against Northwestern, they showed promising signs that their defense is returning to the same strength they started the season with. Wisconsin, however, managed to hold Nebraska back to only seven points during the second half this week, none of which were scored during the fourth quarter of the game.Wisconsin gained a grand total of three rushing touchdowns against the Cornhuskers, which is impressive considering the strength of the Nebraska defense. Nebraska is ranked 22nd in the nation for their rushing defense, only allowing 105.1 rushing yards this season.
